Don’t have a certification yet? No worries – many of these sites can also be experienced through our Discover Scuba Diving program, which doesn’t require a license.

Sunk intentionally in 2019 as part of a marine regeneration project off Oroklini, this 63-meter-long former patrol ship is a relatively young wreck – but it’s already teeming with life and structure to explore.
Perfect for certified divers who enjoy upright wrecks with wide access points and good visibility, Elpida allows both scenic observation and technical skill refinement.

The Elpida, meaning „hope“ in Greek, is a vessel intentionally sunk in 2019 off the coast of Larnaca to create an artificial reef. This dive site has since flourished, attracting a diverse array of marine life and providing divers with the opportunity to witness the ecological succession in a controlled environment. The ship rests in a relatively shallow part of the sea, making it accessible to both intermediate and advanced divers.
