If you love wreck diving but prefer something a bit more accessible than Zenobia, the Elpida offers the perfect balance of structure, depth, and marine life.

Sunk intentionally in 2019 as part of a marine regeneration project off Oroklini, this 63-meter-long former patrol ship is a relatively young wreck – but it’s already teeming with life and structure to explore.

Perfect for certified divers who enjoy upright wrecks with wide access points and good visibility, Elpida allows both scenic observation and technical skill refinement.

Elpida Wreck Dive Cyprus

Your dive starts with an early pick-up around 8:00–8:30 or a pre-arranged meeting. After a detailed briefing, you’ll descend onto the intact hull of the Elpida resting at ~28 meters.
Explore the bridge, radar mast, and open deck, often surrounded by shoals of bream and jackfish, and visited by groupers, barracudas, and octopus.

• After a short surface interval, you can optionally add a second dive (€89) at one of two nearby wrecks: the Lambousa II or the smaller LEF1 – depending on sea conditions and your preferences. Not sure yet? No problem – you can decide on-site. Your guide will remind you in time.

Please note

• We will pick you up at your hotel or arrange a meeting point with you.
• We will then take you on your Adventure Dive, without the stress, hectic pace and time pressure of other guests. So our dive with you is very personal.
• Your needed equipment and the boat tranfer ist included. Please let us know your clothing and shoe size when you book. Soft drinks are also included .
• To participate in this event, you must be min. a certified OWD or higher Diver, with some experience at least 18 years old and fill out a health questionnaire.

Our special service for you:

We will be happy to pick you up from your hotel free of charge if you are staying in Larnaca Destrict
(e.g. Oroklini – Pyla – Livadia – Larnaca City). Pick up is also possible for more distant routes, but we will then charge a small surcharge.

 

We will gladly try to realise your desired date. For wreck diving it is necessary to take a boat to the wreck, but we are also a little dependent on the weather. Write us an email to service@sancytours.com when you would like to do your course, we will block the date and contact you a few days in advance and confirm if the god of the sea Poseidon does not prevent us.
