Nearby, you will see a historic water mill. The site represents more than traditional rural life in Cyprus. It is also connected with a more recent period of the island’s history. During the anti-colonial struggle, the water mill provided a secret hiding place for Cypriot freedom fighters.
From here, we continue towards the Adonis Baths Waterfall. As we descend into the valley, the sound of falling water becomes clearer. Trees and natural vegetation surround the pool, creating a peaceful atmosphere away from the busy coastal resorts.
You can relax beside the water, take photographs or enjoy an optional swim beneath the waterfall. Please bring swimwear and a towel if you would like to enter the water.
