Adonis Baths and Aphrodite’s Rock – Private Tour – Myths, Nature & Beauty
Adonis Baths and Aphrodite’s Rock: Two legends, one unforgettable journey.
On this Private Adonis Baths & Aphrodite’s Rock Tour, you’ll explore places where Cyprus’ most famous myths come to life — from the sea where Aphrodite was born to the hidden valley where Adonis once bathed beneath a waterfall.
Adonis Baths and Aphrodite’s Rock tour is a day that blends beauty, story, and soul: the shimmering coast, the cool green of the mountains, and the feeling that some places still hold the energy of gods and heroes.
Walk barefoot by the sea, dip your feet in mountain water, and feel the island’s most timeless stories surround you. That´s Adonis Baths and Aphrodite’s Rock.
Private Adonis Baths & Aphrodite’s Rock Tour – Myths, Nature & Beauty
Your Private Adonis Baths & Aphrodite’s Rock Tour begins along Cyprus’ breathtaking southern coast at Aphrodite’s Rock (Petra tou Romiou) – the legendary birthplace of the goddess of love and beauty. As waves crash against the rugged cliffs, your guide will share the ancient myths that made this spot sacred.
According to legend, those who swim around the rock will be blessed with eternal love and beauty – but even if you stay on the shore, the magic of this place is undeniable. Take time for photos, a peaceful walk, or simply to feel the sea breeze and the energy of one of Cyprus’ most iconic landmarks.
From the coast, we travel inland to a lush green valley near Paphos to visit the Adonis Baths Waterfall. Surrounded by fig trees and ancient stone, this hidden oasis feels far removed from the modern world. Before reaching the waterfall, we stop at a small sculpture park filled with myth-inspired artworks that add a playful touch to the story of Adonis and Aphrodite.
A few steps above, you’ll find a historic water mill, which once served as a secret hideout for Cypriot freedom fighters during the anti-colonial struggle – a fascinating glimpse into another chapter of the island’s history.
Finally, we descend to the base of the Adonis Waterfall, where cool, clear waters invite you to relax or take a refreshing swim (optional – bring swimwear and a towel). It’s a tranquil spot to pause, surrounded by greenery, myth, and the gentle sound of falling water.
This nature-focused tour takes you to two of Cyprus’ most legendary sites, Adonis Baths and Aphrodite’s Rock, where myth, landscape and water come together in a truly atmospheric setting. Visiting Adonis Baths and Aphrodite’s Rock allows you to experience the island’s natural beauty while exploring places deeply connected to ancient stories and timeless scenery.
